Think of your logbook like a diary of all of your work.
There are a few guidelines:
- Leave the first page blank - this will become your title page at the end. Since your project might change, leave it blank until you are ready to turn in your finished log book.
- Use pen for all of your entries.
- Whenever you add information, make sure you sign and date the page.
- All research notes (background information), ideas, questions, graphs, data - EVERYTHING - is recorded here.
- Hand write everything rather than typing on the computer and added in printed pieces of paper; this is sloppy and the judges want to see YOUR work.
- It's okay if you mess up - neatly x-through a bad section or draw one line through it - do not scribble out anything.
